World-Class Consulting, Project Management & Construction Management Services

Brutal was founded in 2021, initially as a means for Kimbercross (Pty) Ltd in South Africa to expand their offering into the United States but has also grown into other sectors since its opening.

One of our core focus area’s is to represent the project owner’s team, looking after their interests and ensuring that sound engineering, project management and construction management practices are followed to ensure that their projects are delivered within budget, on time and to the highest quality.

We partner with a group of likeminded professionals as and when required who thrive on their integrity and reputation in the supply of services to these sectors and are thus able to leverage our offering to cater for a large spectrum of projects.

Meet the Team

Bruce Souter

PROJECT EXECUTIVE

(BSc Chem, Pro Eng)
Bruce has over 20 years of project experience and has managed several large engineering projects ranging from R500 Mil - R1 Billion. He has also gained experience managing multiple small projects in the mining sector as well as managing several feasibility studies from pre-feasibility to bankable feasibility and taken some of these projects into execution. Bruce has the knowledge and experience to add value to a wide range of projects from both the project management side as well as the engineering side. Bruce has gained experience, working for several reputable EPCM companies including DRA, ADP, De Beers and Paterson & Cooke.

Chantal Souter

OFFICE MANAGER

Chantal provides the much-needed structure and overall support to the functioning of the Brutal office and team. Her background in travel and running her own travel business, and more recently being the Director and running the Kimbercross office in South Africa, has enabled Chantal to hone her skills in management, financial interface, business administration, delegation and task completion. Her focus on details and ensuring that service delivery is exceptional is key to building the reputation that Brutal delivers a quality and professional service to all their Clients.

Mike Tomajczyk

FINANCE MANAGER

Mike has 38 years background and experience in the finance and accounting field and has been in the property development sector for the last 28 years. His extensive experience and background in all aspects of finance, accounting and tax related, together with his vast network of contacts across the industry, makes Mike another extremely valuable member of the Brutal team. His role in providing support to our clients on the financial management of their projects as well as monitoring and control of their budgets, books, payments etc. is key to the overall service offering of Brutal.

Matthew Dellinger

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Matthew has a varied background that started in the automotive industry in 2011 but which shifted into the property development sector in 2017. Matthew has a diverse knowledge across the property development process and is particularly well versed in the pre-development phase, construction management phase and early operational phase. His ability to solve challenges on site, to direct sub-contractors and to close out tasks makes Matthew a critical member of the Brutal team and a vital interface between the oversight role played by Bruce and the actual “on the ground” component of property development.

Katie Artery

ACCOUNTING & BUSINESS ADMIN

In addition to providing accounting and tax services to Brutal as an external consultant, Katie provides additional business management and administration services on a part time basis to support the running of the office. Her background in business administration, together with over 15 years of work experience across a range of positions, provides Katie with the requisite skills to support the office functioning.
